Bello Announces Dualization of Kuje Road, as APC Campaign Train Moves to Kuje, Gwagwalada.

Kuje link road is to be dualized this year, the Minister, Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello has announced. He made this revelation on Saturday February  2, when he led the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign train to Kuje Area Council in commencement of the party’s campaign tour of Abuja.

Before proceeding to the rally ground, the Minister who is the APC camapign council chairman led his team to pay homage to the Gomo of Kuje, the monarch of the town, Alh. Haruna Tanko Jibrin. The Minister announced that the project for the dualization of the main arterial road linking  Kuje with the Umar  Musa  Yar’Adua Airport Express Road is under procurement this financial year. He noted that this was in recognition of the growing importance of the town as a major satellite  town in Abuja.

The FCT Minister stated that he  brought the goodwill of President Muhammadu Buhari to the people of Kuje, while using the occasion to formally inform the royal that the Party has chosen President Buhari  to recontest as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in recognition of the developmental strides recorded in his first term in office.

His words, “we have come to notify Your Royal Highness of Mr. President’s acceptance of the call for his service to continue the good work he had started. He used the first time to lay foundation while the second term would be to consolidate on the great works he had begun in order to take Nigeria to the Next Level. “

Bello acknowledged  that the reign of the Kuje monarch has been marked by peace and prosperity in the chiefdom as evidenced by the rapid expansion and development being experienced in the town year-on-year basis.

The Minister used the occasion of the visit to introduce the various APC candidates to the monarch namely, Hon. Zephaniah Jisalo for Senate, Zakari Angulu Dobi for House of Representatives  and Abdulahi Galadima for Kuje Chairmanship.  He stated that he was impressed with the massive support  that Buhari has in Kuje Area Council and requested that the people should do the same for the various candidates as to provide Mr. President  with trusted lieutenants he would work with.

The campaign train thereafter proceeded to the Kuje Townhall to meet a rousing welcome  and chants of “Nigeria Sai Buhari.” At the Kuje Townhall the Minister, FCT Party Chairman and all the various candidates addressed the throng of party faithful who massed in the town hall to receive convoy.

After addressing the crowd in Kuje, the team moved on to Gwagwalada where it was received at the entry into the town by a long convoy of bikers and very active youths, often the hallmark of Zakari Angulu political machine.

The team also paid homage to the Gwagwalada monarch, Alh. Mohammed Magaji where the FCT Minister again introduced the various candidates and gave assurances of good representation and commitment to improve  the lot of the people. Here the FCT APC Chairman, Alh. Abdulmalik Usman appealed  that the voting should be a blanket mandate  from the Presidentdonw to the Councilors.

Responding, Alh. Magaji commended President Buhari’s Government for its landmark achievements in ensuring peace and accoutability in governance while offering prayers for the peace and wellbeing of the country.

Speakers in both rallies in Kuje and Gwagwalada included Dr. Aboki Zhawa – a former federal Permanent Secretary, Senator Jibrin Wowo – former senator, Hon. Zephaniah Jisalo and Hon. Zakari Angulu – serving house members and the Hon. Abdulahi Danze – chairman, Gwagwalada Area Council among others. All speakers centred on the need to work to make Abuja the foremost area in the President Buhari’s re-election bid.

The rally ended with a homage to Alh. Mohammed Bello Umar, Sarkin Zuba, another paramount ruler  in Gwagwalada Area Council, who nonetheless prayed for a successful and peaceful elections.

2019: Buhari’s victory, good for Nigeria, says Abia coordinator

Abia state Coordinator of the Youth Mobilization Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Council, Dr. Frank Osita Chuks has applauded the federal government under President Muhammadu Buhari for accelerating development in the South East through infrastructural regeneration.

Highlighting the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari, Chuks noted that the current administration has executed more projects in the South East than any previous government.

While berating the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for marginalising the South East in national polity for 16 years, the Coordinator stressed that Ndigbo will pay back President Muhammadu Buhari with a block vote in the forthcoming poll. In a communique issued after an interactive session with Abia Youths in the Diaspora in New York, USA on Friday, the former Chairman of Ummuneochi LGA of Abia state, galvanized support for the Buhari-Osinbajo ticket. His words: “ The level of infrastructural development in the South East is impressive.

“The current federal government has executed numerous projects in Igboland. “

Some of these projects are construction of second Niger Bridge, rehabilitation of Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway (ongoing), rehabilitation of 18km critical stretch of Onitsha-Awka road (ongoing), rehabilitation of Arochukwu-Ohafia- Bende road (ongoing), construction of modern medical centre at the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia (ongoing), completed Ikot Ekpene- Alaoji-Ugwuaji Switching station, completed Nnamdi Azikwe Mausoleum.

“Even a blind person cannot ignore the impact of these laudable projects. The Coordinator, while admonishing the younger generation to sustain their support for President Muhammadu Buhari, added that before the current administration came on board, Nigeria had lost its glory among the comity of nations, stressing that the future of Nigeria is bright under the APC-led federal government.

Chuks, berated Abia state government for failing to deliver dividends of democracy to Abians, adding that Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and his cohorts have been sharing the collective resources of Abians among themselves.
