Bernie Sanders told ninth graders that US actions in Vietnam were ‘almost as bad as what Hitler did’ during his failed run for Vermont governor in 1972

Bernie Sanders told a group of Vermont high school students in 1972 that the United States’ actions in Vietnam were ‘almost as bad as what Hitler did.’

Sanders, the 78-year-old senator who is currently surging in the race for the Democratic nomination for president, made the remark when he was running for governor of Vermont.

The comment was reported at the time by The Rutland Herald. It was unearthed recently by the right-leaning web site Washington Free Beacon.

Sanders, who was 31 years old at the time, was running as the candidate for the Liberty Union Party, which was an offshoot of the antiwar movement.

‘Hamilton’ Star Accused A London Bar Of Racism. The Bar May Take Legal Action.

In late November in a pair of viral tweets, British “Hamilton” star Giles Terera claimed he and a group of eight black actors were refused entry to a London bar due to their race. He said a group of white people behind them were allowed in without incident.

“I just took a group of 8 Black actors who i’m directing in a play about American blues musicians to Aint Nothin But The Blues bar in soho. We were racially profiled and refused entry as 10 white punters were allowed in past us unchecked. WTF,” he tweeted.

“This group of talented, and hard working actors was left devastated, confused and upset while the manager said ‘I dont care who you are or what you are.’ That this happens anywhere is a fucking disgrace, the fact it happens at venue which also exploits Blues music is sick,” he continued.

The “Ain’t Nothin’ But” Blues Bar, where the incident was alleged to have happened, responded to Terera’s claim in a Facebook post, accusing the actor of pulling “the ‘race’ card”:

Creepy Joe Biden Kisses 19-Year-Old Granddaughter on the Lips at Campaign Event

As if his previously documented behavior with women and young girls wasn’t creepy enough, during a campaign rally in Iowa on Sunday, former Vice President Joe Biden invited his 19-year-old granddaughter, Finnegan Biden, the daughter of Hunter Biden, to speak with him on stage, and the two grossed a lot of people out on social by kissing each other… on the lips.

“I would like to introduce you to my granddaughter Finnegan Biden. The reason I asked Finnegan — grandfathers are always allowed to embarrass their granddaughters — that goes along with the territory,” Biden said.

Quite frankly, I think he embarrassed them both.

Biden has brought Finnegan on stage with him before, and had shared similar creepy and awkward moments

Joe Biden Claims His Son Held Burisma Position Because He’s ‘A Very Bright Guy’

During an interview with NBC’s Savannah Guthrie, former Vice President Joe Biden said his son Hunter Biden was asked to be a board member of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma because he is “a very bright guy.”

“Do you think it was wrong for [Hunter] to take that position knowing that it was really because that company wanted access to you?” Guthrie asked.

“Well that’s not true. You’re saying things you do not know what you’re talking about,” Biden responded.

Biden claimed his son got asked to be a board member of Burisma because he was a bright guy, not because his last name was Biden.

2020 MARYLAND GENERAL ASSEMBLY UPDATE WEEK FOUR-LOCAL LEGISLATION, OVERRIDES, AND CELEBRATING MILESTONES

The pace is picking up in Annapolis as the deadline to introduce legislation is fast approaching. Senator Carozza testified in support of legislation to create a fairer eviction process for all parties involved in Wicomico County. Senator Carozza voted to sustain Governor Larry Hogan’s vetoes on legislation that was considered during the 2019 legislative session. Senator Carozza also participated in a special Women’s Caucus event commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Ratification of the 19th Amendment.

CAROZZA TESTIFIES IN SUPPORT OF PRIORITY LOCAL LEGISLATION

Senate Bill 176—Wicomico County— Landlord and Tenant— Repossession for Failure to Pay Rent— Procedures was heard in the Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee on Tuesday, January 28. This legislation was introduced by Wicomico County Senators Adelaide Eckardt and Mary Beth Carozza. Senate Bill 176 would provide more notice to a tenant facing eviction so they can remove their belongings from the property. Officials from the Wicomico County Government and City of Salisbury testified in support of this bill.

“This local, targeted bill makes for a more efficient eviction process, provides increased protections for consumers, reduces blight in local neighborhoods, and frees up law enforcement for other priorities,” Senator Carozza said during her testimony in strong support of Senate Bill 176.

CAROZZA STANDS WITH WATERMEN IN OVERRIDE DEBATE, SUPPORTS COMMON SENSE VETOES

The full Senate on Thursday, January 30, 2020 reconsidered legislation that Governor Larry Hogan vetoed in 2019. One of those bills was Senate Bill 830, which reestablishes the Oyster Advisory Commission with new membership and requires the Department of Natural Resources to develop new consensus recommendations for enhancing the fishery management plan for oysters.

“It [Senate Bill 830] destroys the good-faith effort of time and resources devoted by all the stakeholders—DNR, the Oyster Advisory Commission, the watermen, and the environmental groups,” Senator Carozza said during her testimony in support of Governor Hogan’s veto, which was overridden on party lines.

“This bill does an end run around the various stakeholder groups and causes a delay on moving forward with oyster management…and destroys the trust of our working watermen and their families. I will be voting to sustain the Governor’s veto, and encourage my colleagues who will not be, to support initiatives that include and are fair to our watermen and be part of the process to rebuild trust, remembering that a waterman is on our Maryland State Seal.”

‘Gay’ Migrant Fleeing ‘LGBT Persecution’ Fathers Two Kids in Ireland

An African migrant fathered two children in Ireland after being granted asylum to escape anti-LGBT persecution in his home country, according to reports.

Irish authorities have realized they don’t know the man’s age, origin, or name — and now doubt his claim he is homosexual.

The man arrived in Ireland over ten years ago, posing as a West African refugee fleeing a “homosexual relationship with a person whose family was threatening to kill him,” the Irish Sun reports.

However, it has been discovered the man has since had two children with an Irish woman, and now prosecutors are pushing for his immediate deportation.

Report: $90 Billion in US Taxpayer Money Donated to Global Slush Fund to Fight AIDS But a Portion of the Funds Made It to Clintons, Soros and Others Instead

An investigative report revealed that $90 Billion in US Taxpayer money has been funneled to overseas organizations in the name of helping those with HIV AIDS. In reality the funds are distributed to organizations including the Clinton Health Access Initiative and George Soros’s Open Health Institute.

Corey Diggs put together a report that shows that efforts to combat HIV AIDS may just be fronts for money laundering schemes ran by the Clintons and George Soros. The story begins in August 2000, a few months before Bill Clinton’s second term ends. On August 19, 2000:

Bill Clinton signed a bill establishing the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, intending to locate it inside the World Bank in Switzerland.

The Washington Post reported “Clinton, who will travel to Nigeria and Tanzania, is directing Treasury Secretary Lawrence H. Summers to begin negotiations with the World Bank to set up the trust fund.”

In her efforts to unfold the truth, Diggs uncovered that money sent from the US to help fight AIDS actually ends up in the hands of the likes of George Soros:

China Furious With US on Growing Travel Ban

Chinese government officials are angry with the United States over its growing travel ban in the wake of the growing coronavirus outbreak, pointing out that the World Health Organization has said stringent restrictions are not necessary.

“A certain country has turned a blind eye to WHO recommendations and imposed sweeping travel restrictions against China,” Hua Chunying, the Chinese Foreign Ministry’s spokesman, tweeted on Saturday, reports The Washington Post. “This kind of overreaction could only make things even worse. It’s not the right way to deal with the pandemic.”

Further, Hua said that “certain U.S. officials’ words and actions are neither factual nor appropriate.”

Hua complained that such “unfriendly U.S. comments” were “certainly not a gesture of goodwill” toward China as the death toll from the virus continues to grow.
