The Extremely Sexual (And Political) Halftime Show…That Jeb! Loved

If it was a mix of hypersexual entertainment with a bonus political statement you were looking for in Super Bowl LIV’s halftime show, then 2020’s big game didn’t disappoint. The Left and Jeb! loved it. But there were plenty of viewers who were less impressed with what has increasingly become a spectacle that is not safe for the whole family.

Between J-Lo and Shakira, there was crotch rubbing, pole dancing, and double butt shaking—not to mention in outfits that can hardly be called clothing.

And of course that was just the sexually-charged part of the show. As for the political aspect, the singers pushed immigration to the forefront. Aside from J-Lo singing “Born in the U.S.A.” while draped in a Puerto Rican flag, Lopez’s daughter, Emme Maribel Muñiz and other children were shown in cages singing J-Lo’s “Let’s Get Loud” intermixed with Bruce Springsteen’s classic song.

Health Officials Quarantine Portland To Prevent Spread Of Communism

PORTLAND, OR—The CDC has announced a full quarantine of Portland to prevent the spread of a dangerous virus known as communism.

While communism has been around for a while, experts believe the 2020-Antifa strain could develop into the worst communism pandemic in decades.

“We are enforcing a ban on all travel in and out of Portland until a cure is found,” said one CDC official. “We simply can’t risk deadly viruses like communism spreading out into the world. Millions will die.”

Although there is no known cure for communism, there are preventative measures that experts recommend, such as reading history books. Signs that someone you love may have communism already include wearing ski masks, sporting Che Guevara shirts, and not showering regularly.

Singapore needs a referendum

The last time we had a referendum was when the govt proposed to join Malaysia with Singapore becoming a state of Malaysia. In such an arrangement, we lose our sovereignity, our future will be decided not by us but by the Malaysian govt that could be part Singaporeans, if Singaporeans were able to get elected into the Malaysian Parliament, or be wholly under the control of Malaysians like what is

California Sued After Concealing $320 Billion In Annual State Payments

Just a few of the serious financial problems facing California include unfunded public employee pension promises, a potential state credit downgrade, an unprecedented homeless crisis, and a net out-migration of 912,000 residents since 2010.

One easy step California can take is to join every other state in the union and open up its state checkbook for review. Allowing citizens, journalists, watchdogs, academics, and public policy experts to review state spending would help the state get its fiscal house in order.

Unfortunately, last fall, California State Controller Betty Yee (pictured) rejected our sunshine request for the state checkbook. Oddly, the rejection didn’t argue the law, but instead claimed that the controller couldn’t locate a single one of the 49 million bills she paid last year.

This admission provides a troubling clue to California taxpayers who are wondering how and where their money is being spent. The answer is the people spending it literally don’t know. Or they at least say that don’t.

Trial for prison guards who were on duty the night Jeffrey Epstein killed himself is postponed for two months

A judge on Thursday postponed for two months the trial for two jail guards charged with failing to make required checks on Jeffrey Epstein in the hours before his death.

U.S. District Judge Analisa Torres moved the date from April to June 22 after defense lawyers said they needed more time to prepare for trial. The lawyers had sought a six-month delay.

Guards Tova Noel, 31, and Michael Thomas, 41, have pleaded not guilty to lying on prison records to make it seem they had checked on the disgraced financier before his August 10 death at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan.

Franklin Graham: ‘Pepsi Showing Young Girls that Sexual Exploitation of Women Is Okay’

Christian evangelist Rev. Franklin Graham expressed disappointment with the lack of “moral decency” displayed at the Super Bowl LIV halftime show and the message it purportedly sent to children, writing Pepsi showed “young girls that sexual exploitation of women is okay” and urging society to raise its standards.

The Super Bowl LIV entertainment featured pop megastars Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, both of whom busted out in a series of crotch-grabbing, hip-thrusting moves throughout the performance.

The highly anticipated show also featured J-Lo swinging from a stripper pole..

“I don’t expect the world to act like the church, but our country has had a sense of moral decency on prime time television in order to protect children,” Graham said, lambasting the show for sending the message “that sexual exploitation of women is okay.”

“We see that disappearing before our eyes. It was demonstrated tonight in the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show—with millions of children watching. This exhibition was Pepsi showing young girls that sexual exploitation of women is okay,” he continued.

“With the exploitation of women on the rise worldwide, instead of lowering the standard, we as a society should be raising it. I’m disappointed in Pepsi and the NFL,” he added.

Several users adamantly agreed with Graham’s assessment.

“Me too, it was like a porn production,” one wrote.

China says US hasn’t given any significant help in coronavirus outbreak, created panic

China’s Foreign Ministry said on Monday that the U.S. has failed to give China any substantive help in its fight against the coronavirus outbreak and instead contributed to the international panic surrounding the illness, a report said.

China said it is unreasonable that the U.S. is preventing people from entering its borders, according to Reuters. The virus thus far is blamed in 361 deaths and 17,205 infections, mainly in the area around Wuhan, China, the virus’ epicenter. The foreign ministry added that some countries, like the U.S., overreacted to the outbreak and Beijing hopes nations around the world begin to make reasonable, calm and science-based judgments, the report said.

“All it has done could only create and spread fear, which is a bad example,” foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said, according to the news agency. He said countries like the U.S. have “strong epidemic prevention capabilities and facilities,” but instead of following World Health Organization guidelines, the U.S. concentrated on travel restrictions.

Trump expands travel ban to six new countries

President Trump signed an order Friday expanding his travel ban to six new countries, targeting nations the government says pose a threat because they don’t issue electronic passports or don’t do enough to share information with American authorities to vet their citizens looking to travel.

The six countries are Burma, Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan, Nigeria, Sudan and Tanzania. They join seven countries who are still part of the president’s previous travel ban: Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Syria, Venezuela and Yemen.

“It is fundamental to national security, and the height of common sense, that if a foreign nation wishes to receive the benefits of immigration and travel to the United States, it must satisfy basic security conditions outlined by America’s law-enforcement and intelligence professionals,” said White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham.

The new countries aren’t subject to a total ban.
