A town in Rep. Ilhan Omar’s district – St. Louis Park, Minnesota – voted to drop the Pledge of Allegiance from their city council meetings.

The council voted unanimously to ditch the Pledge in the interest of “diversity.”

In response, a lot of outraged citizens protested the decision, and the Minnesota Senate Republicans ripped the town for its “shocking” decision.

Then, at the height of the protests, President Trump stepped in.

Trump tweeted his thoughts on the controversy, as reported by The Daily Wire:

On Monday, the council voted – again unanimously – to reinstate the Pledge of Allegiance!

The best part is that City Council Member Steve Halligan offered an apology (via FOX9):
“I’ve concluded that I made a mistake and I’m sorry and I’m asking for forgiveness.”

That’s a much-appreciated apology and actually, I DO forgive him.

I believe these people just got caught up in the unhealthy and damaging ultra-leftist wave, which includes a definite anti-patriotic sentiment.

The media apparently wants people to believe that it’s okay to disrespect our country and that newcomers actually don’t like the country.

And these council members have realized that, due to the tremendous backlash and the President’s hard-hitting reply.

They’ve done the right thing: they’ve brought the Pledge back and apologized. Gotta give them credit for that, right?

Rep. Jim Jordan is a real conservative fighting a tough fight in the House.

Recently, he’s been punching back against a wave of corruption coming from the left. And sometimes, from turncoat Republicans (i.e.: Justin Amash).

Now, he’s putting a spotlight on his Democratic colleagues. Why?

Jordan, R-Ohio, spoke to “Fox & Friends” before the House Judiciary Committee began a hearing Thursday morning to review Mueller’s report with witnesses from think tanks and the legal community.

“They’re going to keep doing impeachment hearings, even though they won’t officially call it that. Like we’re doing today in the Judiciary Committee,” said Jordan.

They are too cowardly to be open about their intentions. But a man like Jordan can see through their games.

Mueller spent two years trying to find dirt on Trump. He spent considerable resources to see if there was something, anything that would link Trump to Russia.
He found nothing.

Yet these petty Democrats keep trying for a do-over. They are dragging in witnesses and throwing around subpoenas, thinking they can really get something on Trump.

But there’s nothing there. They are wasting the next year and a half until 2020, trying to hurt Trump.
If they were smart, they’d be working with Trump to do some good for Americans.

“I have no reason to question the inspector general’s conclusion, but that investigation was put on a fast track,” Adam Schiff started.

“It was separated from a broader inspector general investigation, which is still ongoing. Why was that done?”

Schiff just called the IG report tainted and politically motivated. The timing is more than curious and according to Jim Jordan is causing a little panic in Schiff.
