USMC firearm policy has been updated to allow off-duty Marine Corps Law Enforcement professionals to carry concealed �privately owned firearms� while on base for self-defense.

The change comes after the December 4, 2019, firearm-based attack at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and the December 6, 2019, firearm-based attack at Naval Air Station Pensacola. U.S. military personnel who were present during the shootings were defenseless due to gun-free policies that bar concealed carry on bases and installations for self-defense.

Breitbart News reported witnesses of the Pensacola attack noted the attacker had 10 minutes without armed resistance in which to carry out his horrific work.

On December 9, 2019, Breitbart News reported that installation commanders prevent troops from being armed on base for self-defense.

Decision-making authority for on-base concealed carry shifted from the Secretary of Defense to installation commanders via Amendment S. 1536 in 2015, which passed as part of the �National Defense Authorization Act of 2016.� Yet installation commanders by-and-large stuck with the same gun-free policies.

In May 2011, discussions began secretly in Mexico between a known Los Zetas associate and Quds Force operative Manssor Arbabsiar. The discussion would lead to planning a C-4 detonation at a Washington, D.C. restaurant frequented by Saudi Ambassador Adel al-Jubeir. In July 2011, Arbabsiar returned to Mexico to continue meeting with the DEA informant. He explained that his bosses in Iran had plans for more violence, in addition to the Saudi ambassador�s murder. On July 14, the informant told the DEA that Arbabsiar recruited four men to carry out the plot and would charge a total of $1.5 million USD. Advance payments of nearly $50,000 were wired to an FBI-controlled bank account in an overt act of validating the conspiracy.

Millsboro- The Delaware State Police have identified the name of the driver who died in a crash on January 3, 2020 on Millsboro Highway, as 48-year-old Howard W. Bowman IV of Milford, DE.

The crash continues to remain under investigation by the Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit.

Millsboro- The Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal crash involving a tractor trailer that occurred earlier this morning.

The incident occurred on January 3, 2020 at approximately 7:27 a.m., when a 2001 Toyota Sienna, Minivan which was just reported stolen from the Royal Farms in Georgetown, was traveling southbound on Millsboro Highway (SR 26) just south of Betts Road. A 2019 Mack Tractor Trailer towing an enclosed tanker with a soybean by product was traveling northbound on Millsboro Highway in the same vicinity. For unknown reasons, the operator of the minivan failed to maintain its proper lane and entered into the opposing travel lane directly in front of the tractor trailer. The operator of the tractor trailer was unable to avoid the minivan which resulted in a head-on collision within the northbound lane of travel.

The operator of the minivan, a 48-year-old male from Milford, Delaware was not properly restrained. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. His name is being withheld at this time pending the notification of next of kin.

The operator of the tractor trailer, a 40 year-old male from Salisbury, Maryland was properly restrained. He was transported to PRMC in Salisbury where he was treated and released for minor injuries.

Millsboro Highway in the area of Betts Road was closed for approximately 4 hours while the crash was investigated and cleared.

When Democrats won control of both houses of the Virginia Legislature November 5, 2019, Virginia gun-owners got a rude wake-up call. Now that wake-up call is spreading to gun-owners throughout the rest of the 49 states.

In July 2019, Gov. Ralph Northam proposed a package of eight proposals that would tighten Virginia’s gun laws, known as some of the least restrictive in the country. Currently, Virginia’s gun control measures of merit ban the sale of firearms only to high-risk individuals and those convicted of domestic violence. However, the proposals would turn the least restrictive into what some would call dangerously restrictive, a premeditated strike against the Second Amendment. Northam’s proposed package calls for legislation:

• Requiring background checks on all firearms sales and transactions. The bill mandates that any person selling, renting, trading, or transferring a firearm must first obtain the results of a background check before completing the transaction.
• Banning dangerous weapons. This will include bans on assault weapons, high-capacity magazines, bump stocks and silencers.

Top Iranian commander Qassem Soleimani was plotting to attack American military, diplomatic and financial targets in Syria and Lebanon, and comprised the imminent threat used to justify Soleimani’s killing, according to NBC News, citing multiple US officials.

“When we start seeing extensive and very solid intelligence that [Soleimani] is plotting imminent attacks against the United States, the president as commander in chief has a duty to take decisive action,” said a senior State Department official, adding “If we had not taken this action, and hundreds of Americans were dead, you would be asking me why didn’t you take out Soleimani when you have the chance.”

Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs, said he is confident Soleimani was actively planning attacks against the U.S. in the Middle East and those attacks were imminent.

“We had clear, compelling, unambiguous intelligence to indicate Qassem Soleimani was planning, coordinating, and directing a significant campaign of violence against the United States in the coming days,” said Gen. Milley. –NBC News

It�s telling that the Frederick County Democratic Party sees no problem with accusing their political opponents of being Nazis, a natural manifestation of Godwin�s Law. But their lame defense of their hatred is actually even worse. That last sentence is key. �Are they running scared now that we outnumber them in the county, or do they actually object to fighting tyranny.� What tyranny? What are they even talking about? Are they accusing Republicans of supporting a tyrannical? Are they implying that the Trump Administration is tyrannical? It�s bad enough that they called Republicans Nazis, but this pathetic defense shows just how out of touch Frederick County Democrats are with reality.
